Pennsylvania Homeowner Assistance Fund
PAHAF has temporarily paused accepting new application submissions as of February 1, 2023.
Day-to-day operations of the program will transition from a third-party vendor to Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) starting February 6. Read our FAQs here. If you do not have an application in the PAHAF system and have received an ACT91/6 Notice, Notice of Intent to Foreclose, Sheriff Sale Notice, or utility shut-off notice, please click here for alternative resources during the program pause. If you’re an existing PAHAF applicant who hasn’t re-registered, there are 2 simple ways to do so.
ATTENTION: If you are a PA homeowner who has applied and registered for PAHAF assistance and you are facing an adverse action such as foreclosure, sheriff sale, or utility shut off, please make sure your application notes that action and notify the PAHAF Call Center immediately at 888-987-2423 so that the program can prioritize your application, determine eligibility and disburse approved funds that may prevent the action.
